Jaguar Type 01 and Zunjie Brake Test Shake EVs

Jaguar’s all-electric Type 01 marks a dramatic reset for the British brand, bringing 1,030 hp, a 118 kWh battery, 720 km WLTP range, and a £130,000 price tag as it targets the ultra-premium EV segment. Meanwhile in China, Zunjie faced a brake test controversy after three V800 SUVs reportedly suffered pedal bracket failures during repeated 100 km/h emergency stops, prompting free upgrades and renewed focus on EV safety and quality control.
