Mazda EZ-60 Adds LiDAR as BYD Seagull Goes RWD

Mazda has updated the EZ-60/CX-6e in China with Hesai LiDAR, urban and highway NOA functions, and prices starting as low as 113,900 yuan, underscoring how quickly advanced ADAS is moving into the mainstream EV market. At the same time, BYD’s second-generation Seagull appears set for a major leap with rear-wheel drive, a 95 kW motor, multi-link rear suspension, and a front trunk — further raising the bar for Chinese EVs at the affordable end of the market.
